Two Wounded In Overnight Shootings

No Arrests So Far

Police are investigating a pair of shootings that sent two people to hospitals overnight.

Officers said a man was shot twice in the leg near the intersection of Madison and Mathis streets in Madisonville just after 1 a.m.

The man was transported to University Hospital for treatment.

Earlier, a 19-year-old man suffered a minor gunshot wound in the 4000 block of Kirby Avenue just after midnight.

No arrests have been made in either case.
