Caught On Camera: Bearcat Sky-Diving Stunt Goes Wrong

CINCINNATI -- A spectacular sky-diving stunt almost turned tragic at the University of Cincinnati’s first football game last week.

The Bearcat mascot dangled in distress as the event was all caught on camera and was posted on YouTube.

Prior to last Thursday's game against Eastern Kentucky University, a parachutist dressed as the Bearcat mascot came in a little steep and was caught by the wire that holds the net behind the goal post.

After four seconds, the mascot's parachute slid off the wire and the mascot came in for a hard landing.

Medics said that the mascot was OK and was able to walk away.
