CINCINNATI -- A Hamilton teenager admitted Wednesday to kidnapping and torturing a disabled high school student.Cheyanne Blanton, 17, faces up to 59 years in prison when she is sentenced next month for the Feb. 23 attack.Prosecutors said she and 16-year-old Joseph Nagle intended to steal a woman's car, but when they missed their chance, they bound and gagged the woman's 18-year-old daughter, kicked and beat her then shaved her head.
“No hair, no eyebrows, bleeding from the nose and the mouth (and) black eyes,” said Sheila Clark, the mother of Ashley Clark.Clark said she was relieved that neither she nor her daughter had to testify in Blanton’s trial and hopes they will not be asked to when Nagle is tried later.“I am pleased neither one of us has to testify, but in all reality it will be easier for them,” Clark said.Clark said she would never forget what happened to her daughter in their home.“I will take this to my grave,” Clark said. “I see how she was beaten, and I see this daily.”
