Cincinnati, OH -- (Sports Network) - Right-handed pitcher Josh Fogg left Thursday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates with a strained right groin suffered while running the base paths.Fogg sustained the injury while running home and scoring on a Jeff Keppinger sacrifice fly in the third. The Reds starter had doubled to lead off the inning. Fogg surrendered five runs on four hits in three innings, however, with one strikeout and one walk. Ramon Ramirez came on in relief of Fogg for the Reds. The veteran right-hander has struggled this season, his first with the Reds. Fogg, 31, is 2-8 with a 7.58 ERA in 22 games -- 14 starts -- for Cincinnati. He has missed time this season with back spasms, and had to skip a start in July after he was hit in the face by a line drive in batting practice.
